Corporate Responsibility (CR) is high on PROTON’s agenda, and the Group takes a strategic approach in implementing its CR initiatives. PROTON’s CR activities are both external and internal – involving both the community and its own staff. These activities are planned and managed by different sections of the company.

For PROTON, the cost of carrying out these CR activities is not great, but the returns provide significant and meaningful benefits. Through its various projects, the Company has been able to provide skills training to young people and its own staff, to create opportunities for deserving school children, and extend aid to those in their time of need. The payback for all this is, ultimately, a sense of pride and satisfaction.
